We have included here some cruising notes for the Solent area - broadly, from Chichester Harbour in the East to Lymington and Yarmouth in West.
There are a great number of harbours, rivers, anchorages in this area and all are within a day's sailing. Ashore there are are pubs, restaurants, beaches and boardwalks - enough to interest all parties. Here we hope to point you in the direction of some of these as well as providing some navigational pointers along the way.
The map below is interactive and you can select which area(s) you wish to be displayed and click into specific locations including marinas, navigational aids, pubs and restaurants. There are a few areas on this map with which we are not too familiar - if you know more than us and could add please let us know.

Instructions
To use the map engine, zoom in and out as you would normally on a Google map. Click onto any location pin for more info or open up the area layers using the slider icon at the top left corner of the chart. From there you can select/deselect areas or click to directly to the location of interest from the menu.
