The horshoe buoy/life-belt with its attached light, danbuoy and drogue offer a common point of interest for both the casualty and those on board the boat. In rough weather deploy the belt with the danbuoy attached, this will be visible from a much greater range than the MOB's tiny little head. Drogues attached to reduce leeway/drift.
