'Step up into a Life Raft'
The last resort if sinking or on fire. Otherwise the yacht will generally offer you and your crew more protection
Before launching - check all crew are in wet weather gear and lifejackets, get and add to grab bag, issue/update Mayday, tie painter to boat.
After launching - tug painter to inflate, put heaviest strongest crew on first, cut painter, paddle away, stream drogue, hoist radar reflector, believe you will survive.
Life rafts launched by hydrostatic release will still be attached by the painter to the boat, but this will detach via a weak link once the boat has sunk or moved away further than extent of the painter.
