'Springing Off'

Useful technique for getting one end of boat out when being blown on.

Set a bow spring to slip and move a couple of fenders forward to protect your gel coat. Drive gently forward onto the spring and let your stern line go. If neccessary, turn the wheel into the pontoon to vector the prop wash and help push the stern out more. In strong winds you may need more power.
